Will Tully is a director whose work is rooted in character, atmosphere, and genre-inflected storytelling. Born and raised in Hampton Bays, Long Island, he earned a BFA in Film from the School of Visual Arts before relocating to the West Coast in 1999.
Early recognition for his International Kennel Club commercials led to his debut feature, Jingle Hell, which screened at 11 festivals and won multiple Best Feature awards. His short film EPICAC continued that momentum, screening at 26 festivals and earning nine awards.
In 2013, Will launched Cooking with Kyler, a cooking series created with his daughter. The project grew to over 150 episodes and led to partnerships with Simply Organic, KitchenAid, and Jamie Oliver’s Family Food Tube.
Across commercials and narrative work alike, Will gravitates toward character-driven storytelling built on atmosphere, emotion, and human behavior. His work often blends the grounded with the uncanny—using sci-fi or supernatural elements to explore heart, humor, and unease. Passion and grit fuel the work.
